Compassionate therapy for overwhelmed minds

Life doesn't have to feel this heavy. Get the support you need from experienced psychologists who genuinely care — without the wait, without the overwhelm.

Feeling overwhelmed?

Maybe you’re exhausted from juggling work, home, and everything in between.

Maybe you’re snappy with the people you love, or lying awake replaying conversations.

Maybe you just feel… flat. Or anxious. Or lost.

You don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out. And you don’t need to wait until you’re falling apart.

How we help

You’re not just a booking in a system. You’re a person — and so are we.

Our small team of experienced psychologists brings warmth, expertise, and a genuine commitment to helping you feel heard, understood, and supported.

We’ve deliberately kept our practice small so we can offer consistent, personalised care — often with the same psychologist throughout your journey.

Why choose The Avenue Place?

Small by design

We’re not a mental health factory. Our practice is deliberately small so we can provide truly personalised care and build genuine therapeutic relationships. You’ll see the same psychologist each time, and we’ll collaborate with your GP, school, or other supports when helpful.

Expertise that's both broad and specialised

Our psychologists are skilled in evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, DBT, and Schema Therapy — and bring deep expertise in areas like anxiety disorders (especially OCD in children and teens), recovery from narcissistic abuse, and psychological support for chronic pain.

Consistent, experienced care

Our team is committed to this practice and to you. We’re here for the long haul, which means you can build a trusting relationship that deepens over time — not start over with someone new every few months.ul.
